Handling of incorrect QSOs

LM separates into two kinds of incorrect QSOs:

1. Stations that may not be worked according to the active contest rules
QSOs with such stations will be excluded from the log compiling; they will not get points or multipliers. These QSOs will be labeled with the Flag [BAD] in the column „Flags" of the log editor. Detailed information about the particular incorrect QSO will you get in the message window.

„BAD" QSOs are:
1.1 QSOs in a mode that is not permitted for the active contest (e.g. SSB QSO in the HSC-CW-Contest)
1.2 QSOs on a band that is not permitted for the active contest (e.g. QSO on 80m in the 10m-Contest)
1.3 QSOs with stations whose call sign cannot be assigned to a country by using the countries list (e.g. "Q1Q")
1.4 QSOs with stations whose are not permitted for the active contest (e.g. DL1XYZ in the SP-DX Contest non SP)

Whether QSOs of the cases 1.1 and 1.2 will be marked as „BAD" or not can be defined per Option.

2. Exchanged numbers which are incorrect according to the active contest rules
For such QSOs points will be given but no multipliers. These QSOs will be treated as valid, also there is no [BAD] label. Detailed information about the particular incorrect QSO you'll get in the message window during log compilation.

Examples for incorrect exchanged numbers are:
2.1 Missing exchanged numbers
2.2 Exchanged numbers which are not known or assignable by using the linked assignment table (e.g. State „XY" in ARRL contests)
2.3 Exchanged number does not match with the syntactic definitions (e.g. DOK „123" in the WAG contest)
